Two years of Genocide. Two years of unbroken spirit.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Statement from the Palestinian Canadian Congress
Two years have passed since Gaza was set ablaze — two years of devastation, of resistance, and of resilience. The world continues to bear witness to a people who, despite unimaginable suffering, refuse to disappear.
We remember the children whose laughter was silenced, the mothers who searched through rubble with trembling hands, the fathers who carried their families’ final hopes. We remember the journalists who told the truth until their last breath, and the medics who held life in their hands even as death surrounded them.
We grieve for what has been lost — the homes, the songs, the dreams. But we also honour what endures: the courage to live, to love, and to resist.
In every mother who teaches her child the meaning of Palestine, in every student who refuses to look away, in every act of solidarity around the world — Palestine lives.
To our allies: your solidarity has not gone unnoticed. You have carried our voices when they were silenced. You have stood with us when others turned away.
As we press forward in the struggle for collective liberation, let us remember: none of us are free until all of us are free — and now is the time to push harder, speak louder, and act with unwavering purpose.
In Solidarity,
The Palestinian Canadian Congress Team
