Anti-Palestinian Racism Reporting
Anti-Palestinian Racism Reporting addresses racism adjacent to Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism. Specifically, it targets the silencing, erasure, dehumanization, and defamation of Palestinians and their allies who publicly advocate or express affiliation with Palestinian identity or Palestinian human rights. Moreover, this form of racism intersects with colonialism, sexism, xenophobia, cultural appropriation, and more. As a result, it seeks to justify and normalize Palestinian dispossession and oppression, while also isolating and silencing diaspora Palestinians, thereby discouraging them from advocating for Palestinian liberation.

For incidents of racism that have taken place amongst youth in school- please follow the steps below to submit your report:
- Record the incident in the “Anti-Palestinian Racism in Canadian Public Schools” tool.
- This tool collects statistical information and helps the reporting person formulate the incident.
- Look up your district school board or authority.
- Follow the links below to find your designated district.
- Record the incident using your district school board’s anonymous reporting tool. Find the link below under Anonymous Reporting Tools.
- Write to the teacher.
- Write to the principal in writing.
- Write to the superintendents in writing*.
- Write to the directors/trustees at your district school board or authority*.

Finding Your District School Board or Authority
Canadian public schools are funded by the provincial government through its Ministry of Education and are managed by a district school board or authority. Public school administrative bodies have developed policies to ensure equity and address racism. They play a key role in protecting students and ensuring their safety.
